Expertise

Our expertise in your project.

At EXSYN, data migration is more than moving files from A to B. We understand the meaning of every field we transfer. That lets us enhance data consistency, preserve airworthiness evidence, and make your new MRO/M&E system easier to operate and maintain.

Our engineers integrate directly with your project team: scoping, mapping, building, validating, and supporting go-live and aftercare. Whether it’s new software implementation or aircraft phase-in/out, we keep the risk low and the data trustworthy.

The process

How we help: the process.

Our methodology transitions all airworthiness and maintenance data into your new system on time and within budget, without compromising integrity. Each step has validation and sign-off so there are no surprises at go-live. Our approach ensures a smooth and efficient migration, enabling airlines and MROs to benefit from their new software system fully.

System experience

System experience.

In our 10-year journey, we have touched many MRO/M&E systems and data sources, such as:

After go-live

The migration ends at go-live. The data work doesn’t.

Once your new MRO/M&E system is live, EXSYN apps keep the migrated data clean, connected and trusted. No replacement: add the capabilities you need and keep your new system as the system of record.

Customer proof

What our customers are saying.

EXSYN’s expertise and support throughout the whole data migration project has been an important enabler in the successful transition to AMOS and the overall data & system transformation of MAB’s Maintenance & Engineering Division.

Questions

Questions about aircraft data migration.

Aircraft data migration moves airworthiness and maintenance data, such as aircraft, components, modifications, maintenance programme, work orders and structural damages, from a legacy system into a new MRO/M&E system. EXSYN maps every field by its meaning, validates it against business rules and signs off each load before go-live.

EXSYN has worked with AMOS, Ramco, TRAX, AMASIS, OASES, SAP, Oracle cMRO and IBM mainframe environments, among other MRO/M&E systems and data sources.

In eight stages: project plan, data mapping, baseline load, a first and second full load, a third full load for user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live and post go-live support. Each step has validation and sign-off, so there are no surprises at go-live.

Business rules catch gaps and inconsistencies early, and every value is traceable from source to target for audit readiness. Runs are reproducible, with role-based access and change control, and deliverables come with checklists and sign-offs.

Yes. Whether it’s a new software implementation or an aircraft phase-in or phase-out, EXSYN engineers work inside your project team. For aircraft transitions, see also the Aircraft Phase-In and Aircraft Phase-Out apps.

EXSYN supports go-live and aftercare. After that, EXSYN apps such as M&E Consistency Checks & Reports keep the migrated data clean and connected, alongside your new system rather than replacing it.
