Data Migration and change management consulting at Flybe

Situation

After making the decision to implement new MRO Software, Flybe was looking for an experienced partner to conduct a discovery and design phase in preparation for the implementation project. For the implementation itself, Flybe was looking for expertise in data migration, solution design, and interface design due to their complex infrastructure landscape and operations.

Solution

Within their consulting service department, EXSYN performed the discovery and design phase to prepare and set the standard for the AMOS implementation. After the successful completion of the discovery and design phases, EXSYN's contract with Flybe was extended. EXSYN delivers its data processing solution NEXUS on a Software-as-a-Service basis and supports the data migration from Flybe’s legacy systems to its newly implemented MRO software system, AMOS. Next to that, EXSYN is designing and delivering all necessary interfaces between AMOS and other Flybe systems. Flybe will also have access to EXSYN’s team of dedicated IT and aviation professionals, who will take on different roles within the implementation project organisation at Flybe. Additionally, this project also sees EXSYN’s partner, Cervino Consulting, getting involved by providing Project Management support.

“We have been delighted with the services deployed by EXSYN in the discovery and design phase of the project and we now look forward to a successful implementation phase”  Keith Earnden, Director of Engineering and Maintenance, Flybe
