Data Silos

A data silo refers to a isolated data store that is not accessible to other parts of the organization. Data silos can occur when data is spread across different departments or business units, but it can also happen when data is stored in different formats or systems. Either way, data silos can hinder data management and make it difficult to get a complete picture of the business. In some cases, data silos can even lead to duplicate data, which can waste time and money. To avoid these problems, organizations need to have a data management strategy that includes ways to break down data silos.
