How to Automate Maintenance Contract Billing in AMOS

AMOS has the possibility to setup and maintain line/base maintenance contracts , allowing for automated billing. Contracts in AMOS ensure that billing and service delivery are aligned with the agreed terms, helping organizations stay compliant with customer expectations and regulatory standards. This allows for transparent and timely billing, along with accurate service reporting, enhanced trust and satisfaction among maintenance customers.

Setting up Contracts

The first step to establishing contracts is to setup their definitions in the Contract Management module in APN 78.

It is critical to choose the right Contract Type as applicable. In this example

And define the users who can access the contract, with the required permissions.

Setting up the commercial pricing conditions

Once the contracts are defined, the next step is to setup the pricing conditions. The pricing conditions can be either fixed price conditions , it can be resource conditions or material conditions.

The commercial price lists are setup in APN 3098 – Commercial Price Lists. The following steps are most important,

• Choosing the Type of the pricing condition as ‘Contract’ and link the applicable contract.

• Choose the appropriate maintenance type on the pricing condition.

• Choosing the right condition type, to ensure the contract pricing is most accurately defined.

• Defining the right applicability on the pricing condition to ensure the right contract conditions are met.

Linking the pricing conditions to the work performed

In order to ensure the pricing conditions defined are applicable on the work being performed for a customer, follow the below two steps.

1.Link the contract to the project (the type of contract is to be defined as Project).

2.Link the project to the work package created for the customer where all work to be performed is collected.
