Aircraft data consultant

About the Role

As an Aircraft Data Consultant (ADC) at EXSYN, you’ll combine your expertise in aircraft engineering with a passion for data to support airlines and MROs in becoming more data-driven and efficient. Your role is hands-on, customer-facing, and impactful, contributing across airworthiness data transitions, including fleet transitions, aircraft inductions, maintenance system changes, and phase-in periods where data is gradually brought under control.

You operate at moments where data accuracy and continuity are critical. Working closely with airline engineering, CAMO, and records teams, you analyse existing maintenance and airworthiness data, define migration and validation approaches, and ensure that aircraft data remains correct, traceable, and compliant throughout transitional and early operational phases. Your work enables customers to rely on their data for continued operations, audits, and authority oversight.

As a trusted consultant and primary point of contact, you communicate in an open, clear, and constructive manner. You support customers in navigating complex airworthiness data challenges and work together toward practical, compliant solutions. Your commitment to continuous learning and professional development drives how you grow your own expertise and how you contribute insights that help strengthen EXSYN’s data migration, integration, and data-quality foundations over time.

Aviation is your passion—not in the cockpit, but in the data and engineering that keep aircraft flying safely. You enjoy working with complex datasets, understanding how maintenance and airworthiness data is structured and used, and taking ownership of ensuring that the information supporting aircraft operations is complete, consistent, and fit for purpose.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute and support airworthiness data migration and transition activities, including fleet transitions, aircraft inductions, maintenance system replacements, and phase-in periods

  • Analyse, structure, script, and validate large and complex airworthiness and maintenance datasets

  • Define and maintain data mappings across key domains such as AMP/MPD, AD/SB, ALI/SSI, task cards, components, and time controls

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data inconsistencies and quality issues in collaboration with airline engineering, CAMO, and records teams

  • Perform data reconciliation, completeness checks, and validation cycles to ensure regulatory and operational compliance

  • Document migration and validation logic, assumptions, and outcomes to ensure traceability and audit readiness

  • Prepare data migration deliverables suitable for internal audits and authority oversight

  • Collaborate internally to ensure validated data is ready for downstream operational use

What We Ask

  • A (minimum) bachelor’s degree in aviation engineering, aviation management, or a related field

  • Solid understanding of aircraft maintenance and continuous airworthiness processes

  • Solid understanding of aircraft maintenance and continuous airworthiness processes

About EXSYN

EXSYN is a Netherlands-based technology company providing a modular platform for aviation data continuity. We help airlines, operators and MROs ensure their aircraft data is clean, connected, and future-ready across airworthiness, maintenance, and engineering operations.

Our background is deeply rooted in airworthiness data migration and system integration. Long before offering a modular platform, EXSYN supported airlines during fleet transitions, aircraft inductions, and maintenance system replacements, ensuring that aircraft data was transferred accurately, consistently, and in line with regulatory requirements. This experience forms the backbone of our expertise and underpins everything we do today.

By combining deep airworthiness knowledge with data engineering and integration capabilities, we help the aviation industry build trust in its data, so it can be used with confidence in daily operations, audits, and future innovation.

We are a close-knit, international team that values ownership, openness, and expertise. At EXSYN, you’ll work on complex challenges that truly matter, together with people who care about getting it right.
