Aircraft data consultant
Who You Are
As an Aircraft Data Consultant at EXSYN, you’ll combine your expertise in aircraft engineering with a passion for data to support airlines and MROs in becoming more data-driven and efficient. Your role is hands-on, customer-facing, and impactful, driving success across both airworthiness data migration projects and the implementation of EXSYN’s modular aviation-native apps.
You are part of complex aircraft data migration projects during fleet transitions, system replacements, or aircraft inductions, ensuring data is transferred accurately and meets all regulatory and operational requirements. This includes tasks like scripting, validating data structures, and troubleshooting inconsistencies in collaboration with airline engineering and records teams.
In parallel, you'll guide customers in embedding EXSYN’s modular apps into their daily operations. Ranging from OEM Library to Health Checks and Reliability Engineering. You'll help teams not just implement tools, but improve how they manage and use aircraft data to reduce workload, increase compliance, and gain insights.
As the first line of support for our customers, you will communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging manner, dedicated to finding the best solutions for each client. Your commitment to continuous learning and professional development will drive your contributions to the ongoing enhancement of EXSYN’s Platform.
Aviation is your passion, not in the cockpit, but in the data and engineering that keep aircraft flying. You’re naturally drawn to data and analytics and are excited about combining this with your expertise in aircraft engineering and maintenance. You thrive in environments where you can broaden your scope, preferring dynamic, hands-on roles over the confines of a traditional corporate setting.
What You’ll Do
Support aircraft airworthiness data migration projects (e.g. during aircraft transitions or system changes)
Configure and implement EXSYN apps in customer environments
Conduct workshops and training to guide adoption and day-to-day use of our tools
Script, structure, and validate large datasets from various aircraft maintenance systems
Advise customers on data quality and operational process improvements
Act as first-line support during implementation and build long-term client relationships
What We Ask
A (minimum) bachelor’s degree in aviation engineering, aviation management, or a related field
Solid understanding of aircraft maintenance and continuous airworthiness processes
Preferably, hands-on experience with MRO software systems (e.g. AMOS, MXI, or similar)
A natural affinity for data, with the ability to translate technical complexity into actionable insights
Comfortable facilitating workshops and collaborating with diverse technical teams
Experience in data migration or consulting/project-based environments is a plus
Proficient in SQL; preferably also familiar with JavaScript or Python
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Professional proficiency in English (Dutch is not required)
Willingness to travel internationally, when required
Eligible for NATO II Security Clearance
Willingness to relocate to our headquarters in the Amsterdam area (NL)
Please note: We only consider applicants who reside within the European Union and are eligible to work in the Netherlands, as we do not offer visa sponsorship.
