The cooperation between Oman Air and EXSYN started with the subscription of EXSYN’s data processing tool TITAN as a managed service. By using its data processing tool TITAN EXSYN was able to transfer the full Oman Air airworthiness & maintenance data fast and secure from an AS400 database (PMI) to the new MRO software system AMOS. This proved robustness of the TITAN solution and EXSYN’s approach of data migration not only on modern systems such as SAP or ORACLE but also on older legacy database systems running on DB2 or AS400. Next to the data migration EXSYN conducted a fit-gap analysis, data cleansing, and a mass-data update, with the hulp of its data processing tool TITAN, to ensure high data quality in the new MRO software system. TITAN was also used to establish requested reports to provide detailed insights into the business performance of Oman Air. During the project EXSYN engaged with Oman Air in the performance of a physical inventory audit of their warehouse and the phase-in of their newly delivered Boeing 787 aircraft. Since the go-live of their new MRO software system, EXSYN has proceeded with its end user support to Oman Air for their AMOS production environment.
